How Lini works

Browse broadly. Save maybes. Trust timing carefully.

Lini helps parents find local camps, sports, and activities, then keeps source and timing states visible so reminders only show up when the data is clear enough.

Trust labels

What each label means.

Lini labels describe what is known in the listing data. They are not endorsements or a replacement for the provider source.

Label What it means What it does not mean
Website checked A source URL and checked timestamp exist, the listing is verified, visible, and not marked stale or untrusted. It does not mean provider details are unchanged today.
Registration dates confirmed An exact registration open date or deadline is present and the listing is reminder-safe. It does not mean spots are available or that the provider will not change the schedule.
Dates not posted No exact registration open date or deadline is posted in the listing data yet. It is not a negative review of the program.
Not confirmed yet The card is missing a source URL, checked timestamp, verified state, or another safety condition. It does not mean the program is bad or unavailable.
Added to watchlist The listing is saved in this browser or in the parent's Lini account. Saving is not the same as verified timing.
Watching for updates An account is watching the listing until confirmed dates are available. It is not a scheduled deadline reminder yet.
Reminder scheduled An active account reminder exists for a listing with confirmed registration timing. The provider source still wins if the source changes after the reminder is set.
Stale or needs refresh The listing needs another source check before Lini should present checked or reminder-safe timing. It should not be treated as current timing.
Unknown Lini does not have enough source-backed data to label the timing confidently. It is not a claim that the program is closed.
Source rules

The provider source wins.

Lini is useful because it keeps the source state visible. It is still a parent tool, not a provider system of record.

Exact when exact

Dates are labeled as confirmed only when exact registration date fields exist and the listing is safe for reminders.

Expected when inferred

If timing is inferred from season text or older patterns, it should stay in browse or watch states, not reminder-safe copy.

Unknown when unknown

If Lini cannot tell, the page should say so and send parents back to the provider link.

Coverage is useful but incomplete. Lini can help with active browse surfaces today, but no page should imply full coverage of camps, sports, classes, providers, openings, or deadlines.
